Two IVF Buddies Who Turned Shared Struggles into Shared Purpose<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We\u2019re Alex and Ali, the faces behind <\/span>Mi Compa\u00f1ero de FIV<\/span><\/a>, brought together by our shared <\/span>IVF journeys<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Together, we\u2019ve navigated 6 IUIs, 17 IVF cycles and egg retrievals, 20 embryo transfers of more than 30 embryos before achieving our successful pregnancies. Our story is one of setbacks, resilience, and hope <\/span>\u2013<\/span> experiences that inspired us to create a supportive space for others starting or already going through their own IVF journey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

We connected through shared heartache and a search for knowledge, quickly realising just how isolating and confusing the IVF process can be – and now we\u2019re creating what we wish we\u2019d had: a central place that brings together trusted information, research, and practical tools, making IVF support easier to find, all in one place.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Where It All Began<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We both started in a familiar place <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>deep in the trenches of research, scrolling through fertility forums, blogs, and studies at all hours, searching for anything that might help our next cycle. In that sea of information, we found each other. Two strangers on parallel journeys, who quickly became friends, then confidantes, then one another\u2019s biggest source of strength.<\/span><\/p>

Over the next 3<\/span>\u2013<\/span>4 years, we supported each other through the ups, the heartbreaks, the questions, and the long waits. We listened, we cried, we celebrated every small win. We shared what we were learning <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>from clinic questions, to hormone protocols, nutrition tweaks, non-toxic self-care swaps, mindset tools, and more <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>anything that might\u00a0 help improve our chances.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We\u2019re incredibly blessed and grateful that our long IVF journeys led to our happy endings and today, we each have a beautiful baby. But we never forgot how hard it was to get here. That\u2019s why we created My IVF Buddy.<\/span><\/p>

This space was born out of countless conversations, research, note taking, and deep diving into studies and blogs <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>not just as a way to make sense of our own journeys, but as a lifeline we can offer to others. Everything we\u2019re sharing here began as something we shared with each other: little discoveries, questions to ask, swaps to try, ways to cope, and reminders that we weren\u2019t alone.<\/span><\/p>

We\u2019ve been through many ups and downs in our IVF journeys, and we share our experiences here with honesty and care. Some parts of our stories, especially those directly involving our children, are theirs to own and share, if and when they choose to do so.
